Sold Out

Well, it’s been a while again, sorry about that. I’ve been busy with school and friendz, and basically, just life!

 on thursday of last week, i had minor surgery on my leg for a birthmark that could potentially be cancerous so they decided to cut it off. it took about 5 shots of numbing stuf and about 8 stitches. so yah im trying to be calm and not rip the stitches out but it’s getting annoying. only 8 more days though and i get the stitches out. my mom says i am patriotic because the stitches are blue, and my blood is red (duh) and my skin is white! lol.

trying to pack for furlough, but it’s not working so well. today i went through and got rid of tons of my clothes and i still have too many. sigh. only 4 more weeks of school left and 5 more weeks until we leave.

life is good, mostly i am just having fun hangin with ma friendz before we all hafta say goodbye…so not looking forward to that. some alumni came back to visit so that’s been cool seeing them.

one of my best friendz, carter, is on a missions trip to different places in asia. (he’s already graduated). anywayz, it’s been really cool hearing about everything he’s been experiencing and everything God is teaching him. he was saying how while he was in mongolia, their team got to play with a bunch of little kids who were so bright and happy and running around yelling things in mongolian. they couldn’t understand each other but carter said it was really cool to be able to show them God’s love even though they couldn’t speak the same language. he said “love doesn’t speak a language, love is a language” and i thought that was really cool and something that we deal with a lot as missionaries. it’s cool to be able to hang out with people that don’t speak the same language as you, yet you can still show them Jesus’ love.
