Tears in a Bottle
Psalm 56:8
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.”

14 today…and to tell you the truth, it wasn’t that great of a day. it was rainy and drizzly all day and i basically just hung out at home chillin. we had old friendz from america over for dinner and that was really fun. lots of laughs, awsum time. got some funny little presents and a bracelet…not really anything exotic, i spent all my birthday money in cairns. but hey thats kool…
heard from my long lost brothers the other day…which was kool and rare, they have such busy lives!
God’s been teaching me a lot lately…about patience, about my life and where he wants me right now although it may not be where i necessarily want to be. about him. about how totally amazing and wonderful he is that i don’t even get it..how i am so stubborn and so used to this world that he seems so surreal.
enjoying break, relaxing and just chilling. it’s nice to take a breather before finishing off the school year. its hard to find strength and motivation sometimes so its good to have a little boost in the middle. im still planning on doing track next term as long as my knee holds up!!!
read an amazing book recently - When Dreams Come True by Eric and Leslie Ludy…..really really really good!!! highly recommend it.
really tired so thats all for now. i miss you all terribly. much love from the buzzing angel!
vale la pena - it’s all worth the pain
life started lookin up last thursday. i had a doctors appointment and now, i am allowed to run!!!!!!!!!! after five months of not running, i was able to run a lap with my class during p.e. on friday. it was so fun! i never realized i could enjoy it that much. ill be doing track next term and running lots. yippee.
but, on a side note, i found out about a week ago, that another of my best friendz is leaving png, forever at the end of this school year. nate. yup so that makes 4 of my classmates leaving. forever. major bummer. thats the hard part about living here. but life goes on.
2 more days of skul then im free for like, 3 weeks. woopdeedoo. last break until the end of the skul year.
thats all i feel like writing right now. im extremely tired so i think i might go sleep.
peace ya’ll.

well…so much news! first of all….
on the 15th of February, my neice, Esther Kaylee Martin was born! she is such a cutie!
then, last weekend, we had a sports tournament with numonohi, the mission school about 2 hours from us. it was a blast watching the guyz play basketball and the gurlz play soccer together. lots of fun and i got a massive sunburn. but that’s almost all healed now so that’s good. last saturday, we watched a copy of the superbowl that someone sent here, so yes, all of us on the other side of the world finally got to find out that the colts won the superbowl! yeah!
then, on sunday i got to watch one of my gurlfriendz get baptised in the dirty and muddy Ba’e River. it was pretty kool.
i was sick on tuesday and stayed home from school and slept mostly the whole day. it was nice to get a little extra sleep for once.
last nite, friday, we went to see the school play You Can’t Take it With You. it was pretty funny. after the play, i hung with my friendz and watched a bit of Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail. that is, like the most retarded movie ever created, but hey sometimes you gotta watch something really stupid, right?
the past few days i have had horrible allergies (thanks to blooming red grass) plus i have a really bad sore throat, so i’m just chilling at home.
tomorrow, 11 kids are getting baptised in the river, so the youth will have a service out there, then youth group at nite, and then, monday its off to school. again. but hey, school is almost out!!! and then only one more term of middle school. rock on.
im really looking to furlough, so much so that i often can’t concentrate in school. therapy is going well, and hopefully i should be able to start jogging/running in a few weeks, which of course makes my world 10 million times brighter.
i posted some new pictures on flickr, including one of esther, in case any of you are interested.
much love to you all, hang in there and remember to live life to it’s fullest.
