Sold Out

Sorry, I haven’t written in ages. I’ve been so busy with school and friends and life in general. So much has happened lately and I don’t know where to begin.

The other night, one of my friend’s dad was riding his motorbike home from the airport. He was coming around a corner and didn’t see a PMV which is a big vehicle that carries tons of people. He was hit head on and was thrown off his bike. He like went head into the windsheild and dented it. He ended up breaking both of his arms and his leg. The doctors here said that if he hadn’t had his helmet on he could’ve been killed. He was medivaced to Australia that same night and is still in the hospital. Since his son is one of my really close friends, it really freaked me out. I was so scared for him. I guess it was just another excuse to trust God, not that I actually need one or anything.

All the highschoolers have been gone in Madang, one of the coastal cities for a youth thing called Encounter. It’s where they all go down there from like Thursday to Monday and where they have a speaker and it’s just a time for them to really encounter God. The campus was like empty since there was only 2 grades left there and it was kinda cool. We could like be all loud and stuff and no one cared!!

The next few weekends the soccer team has games against the other mission schools around us. That will be fun especially since we get to skip like a whole day of school to go to Goroka, a town about 2 hours from here. I can’t wait.

Oh yeah, and Happy Valentine’s Day late!!! At school, we did this little game thing where all the girls get a little paper heart and they can’t talk to the guys at all and if they do, they have to give them their heart. It’s very tricky and yes, I did lose my heart, right after the lunch bell rang. It was pretty sad actually, but it was fun all the same.

My thirteenth birthday is in 1 month and 9 days, but who’s counting? Me and my really good friend, Anna are gonna have a mixed party this year cuz her birthday is like 6 days after mine or something like that. We can’t wait!!!

So yea. I can’t really think of too much else going on at the moment…yea…not much else. racking brain anyways, I’m sure I’ll think of something like 5 minutes after I get offline but oh well. That’s what you get for having short term memory loss, or maybe it’s long term memory loss. Who cares, anyways?
